Pret-a-Manage had had a very interesting marketing strategy this December. Apart from traditional campaigns to help charities, they also encouraged their customers to share with each other. For many people getting their morning tea or coffee as takeaway from places like Pret is part of the daily routine: by providing the option to add by whom and for whom the tea/coffee was bought, as well as the hashtag #sharethehope. I wonder how many people ended up buying a tea or coffee for one of their colleagues because of this.
